Hareshaw Linn

There are a number of cycle routes around Tarset and its neighbouring areas including The Black Grouse, The Salmon, and The Red Squirrel.
Hareshaw Linn is a breathtaking three mile walk to a wondrous waterfall with rare wildlife and plant life on the way. The route is available here.
The Heritage Centre explores the agricultural, social, and industrial history of the local area through exhibitions and displays.

For the first time in 1600 years the 84 mile Hadrian's Wall path can be walked following the National Hadrian's Wall Trail.
Housteads is Britain's best preserved Roman Fort. A short 35 minute drive from Crackin' View it is an essential visit for those wanting an enchanting wander into Northumbrian history.
